Hey guys, I'm a straight up noob when it comes to Denison Dam fishing. I've only been twice a couple years ago, but I want to go again. How do I know when/how much they're releasing? I can't read the freakin report for the generation.

Any help, not hate, would be awesome. I want to go this weekend.

I called... couldn't understand the guy mumbling into the recording. Is it stupid to just drive out tomorrow night (over an hour drive) and hope for the best?

You were right very hard to understand today sound like he said 3pm-10pm today but didn't mention anything about this weekends gen schedule. I'd check the website Ant posted and compare.

Went up there before the "cold front", dam started generating i walked all the way down to the creek waded out on the little point(do not do it by yourself its hard to navigate it unless you go before the generation and google map it first) anyways caught lots biggest was 22 inches im guessing, had to retie 4times, fish bust my 15 lb leader no fray changed my leader 4 times, anyways i think this front did something because i havent caught shnitch lately besides dinks

I am super busy, of fishing, of making fishing lures.

I caught sandies, brids, crappies, buffaloes, carps, drums, blue cats with my home made lures. Those colors work very good in my collection.

Now new lures "Moon Fox" are on the way out.

I think biddy got it right...8 pound summer weight but the same fish will go 10 plus in the fall.

I don't really know what to type here.

That's a mess of Little George clones! smile Helluva lure, catches sandies and stripers almost automatic. wink
