I try to be a post regualar, and contribute when i have a chance to actually fish. With a 4 and 6 year old and busy practice, my days on the water are laughably small.
I'd love to learn the ways of this Neil person, and try to slip in and catch a few on the fly rod.
PM me if anyone cares to, help a brother out.
Yea, dennison seems pretty questionable these days. I bought a new xtra long spey rod just for DD 1.5 years ago, and the lake dried up and fishing screetched to a halt. I though I had it dialed on the fly 2-3 years ago when there were actually some fish there. BTW, on the fly, dinks feel like salmon.

Hi Brad, your fishing style does not fit the style of our fishing. We are looking for STRONG WIND. At this season, the stronger the wind, the better the fishing. If there was no wind, or wrong wind, we don't even bother to go. And the place where we fish is surround with trees and bushes. You will not be able to use your fly rod. brad I did the same thing but with a surf rod...built that thing and it hasn't been touched in over a year. It actually has been touched but hasn't seen water.
I don't really know what to type here.

no wind = so so fishing or skunk
8-15 mph wind = good fishing
15-30 mph wind in your face = major allergies, birdsnests and giant hybrids.
thats that.

he's trying to say that DD was so dry last year, that he did not have the opportunity to use his new rod yet. I try to be a post regualar, and contribute when i have a chance to actually fish. With a 4 and 6 year old and busy practice, my days on the water are laughably small.
