Looks like a LOT of teams from the Ray Hubbard area. Is that because not a lot of High Schools have fishing teams/clubs yet or was there qualifications to get to that tourney?

No qualifications, Cost quite a bit to participate, gas, hotel, prefishing, equipment etc. That is the reason 4-H is the program to use. Students can get recognized by the school in 4-H and get out of school for local events that may serve as qualifying events. They can hold fundraising events and use 4-H tax breaks. Of course, I am a little bias because I am a County Agent with interest in 4-H. 4-H offers event insurance less than a $1 per student.

That's pretty cool that every team caught a fish. There's always at least one zero. . .

Think there were 50+ teams. They only posted those that caught fish.

I heard the winner got a new bass boat. I could not imagine winning a bass boat at umpteen years old. Heck can't imagine it now haha.

I am the sponsor of the Forney team. I was really impressed with all of the kids, that fished. It was windy and rough and they all fished their tails off! I had more fun helping them catch fish than I do when I catch them. I had 7 teams and since then I've had about 10 more kids want to sign-up.
