I have an 08 BassCat and the solenoid has gone out on the trailer.I am wondering how difficult it is to change out the solenoid.Do I need to take the tongue apart to get to the solenoid and if so how hard is it to get it back together?

Go to the UFP website, they have re-build instructions there.

This website is good too...http://www.pacifictrailers.com/UFP-Brake-Actuator-Parts-List-and-Schematic/

You will need to take the tongue apart, diconnect the brake line, and likely bleed the brake lines upon re-assembly.
