I will be heading to table rock and fun fishing with some friends from Kansas city on the 21st and 22nd and I was wondering if anyone had some tips for me or some good locations to start out

Any of the docks would be a good place to start. I like aunts creek personally. Might be a few still on beds. Spots are super agressive

Get rid of your braid, and anything over 10 lb. test. Blk and blue plastics, cranks, and jig n pig around docks or back of creeks.

You can use higher than 10lb test there. If you fish the docks or drag a jig just have some clear 12-17lb.
