Went to the river today to see if there were any fish, and the water was crystal clear. I fished for about 30 mins, catching one nice bass, and then decided to give up and take a dip. The water is great! I think I'll take a trip up there this weekend just to go swimming. Here's my 1 fish of the day:

That's a nice Largemouth Jason. WTG! Bet that one gave a good fight.

I don't think I could resist taking a dip in that water either.

I was on part of the San Gabriel. Not many fish to be found.

Sorry to hear there aren't many on the San Gabriel right now. I was actually considering fishing it tomorrow. I'll likely fish LBL now. The fish do act kinda weird there when the water gets really clear. Maybe because of predator birds? Either way that is an awesome Largemouth for the San Gabe. What hours did you fish it today?

I was only there for about an hour and a half between packing and working. I was just upstream from Lake Georgetown. I bet the fishing is much better between Georgetown and Granger.

We're moving in with my wife's grandparents for a few months before we try to get a house! Just about 5 mins down the road from where we currently are.
