Talked to a buddy of mine that just got back. The most active fishing came from 4-6 ft off of points and in timber. White Trickworms (weightless) and white/chart spinnerbaits were the baits that caught the most bass. Report was from Indian Mound and Hurricane Creek. Probably will be something different by the time yall get there. Good luck at your tournament.

Just got back, fished the south end. fished over hydrilla, milfoil and duck weed. white fluke took may fish. Also CR watermelon red fluke after top water slows. One or two on buzz bait, a few on sammy. found them around the islands and points.
