I have two power poles on my skeeter. Last weekend I was sightfishing during tourney and noticed one of my poles was frequently lagging behind the other when I pushed the up button for both. Then, later the same pole that had been lagging, raised up 80% & the pump for it screamed as it raised the last 20% of the motion. I tried it 2-3 more times with the same result. Well, being in a tourney with bass on beds in my immediate area I couldn't keep making that much noise so I disconnected the noisy pump/pole & finished the day out. Right now at home I have changed out the fluid, cut & reinsert the tubing where it appeared to have a possible leak at one time. But still the pump screams the last 20% of the motion. Even when I use my hand to help the pole a little while raising to ensure the pole is in a bind the pump still screams.
Anybody have any advice on how to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance

Sounds like you may have air trapped in your system, get someone to operate the pole, while you crack one of the fittings and bleed air, just a thought. I am not a power-pole owner.

Thanks cajunslo.
Power Pole factory rep contacted me and I will be shipping the pump to them for repair at no charge.
