Actully a HDS-7 will fit in the dash. Mine fit fine in my 2011 Z7. I have a 7 on the bow too.

Nice boat. I love mine, but am trying to get more speed.

Thanks everyone. The boat has been great. My tournament fishing, not so much just yet.

My brother was able to cut a whole slightly bigger and the HDS-5 Gen 2 fits great.
