I was on Benbrook last night and hit a stump when I was going at a fast idle. Felt like I hit the lower unit and not the prop, but later when I was trying to take off, it felt like my prop was slipping. Almost felt like there was air back in the water and the prop wasn't grabbing. I was able to slowly get on plane. I've never spun a hub before. I've been told that if you do, and your on plane, don't let off or you'll never get back up on plane. I was able to get on plane several times after this, but it just felt wierd. The prop wasn't bent, and no more dings than normal. If it is spun, where is a good place to get it fixed. Any idea how much it costs? hmmm

Draw a line across your nut and hub
Run it. If it's not aligned then it's slipping

Also have heard to pull your kill switch put it in gear and step on the prop blade and see if you can spin it

Crash,
Thats what I thought at first, but I've never had it do that on this boat before. My fishing partner noticed it to. It was kinda like I had the motor up and I was hitting the gas. Just wasn't grabing. helpsign

Fish Killer, I put it in gear at the ramp, and with the motor off, turned the prop. There was atleast enough grab left to make the motor turn, and couldn't detect any slipping.
