I put them whole in a mesh bag and sink them in a choice location.

I throw them out in a big shot gun pattern and wait a little bit then fish. Also know that carp love to eat that stuff. I have caught some really large carp while fishing range cubes.

I break mine up and toss them. I use it in combination with soured corn. Corn stinks to hog heaven, cubes are odor less which leads me to ask why do "range cubes" even work?
I always catch Channels and their eating the corn I know as its in my live well and floor of the boat when I catch them.
Just asking.

How big of holes do you drill in the bucket to make it disperse at the right rate?

I have used the cubes and when I cleaned the channels they were full of the stuff so I know they eat it.
BTW, there is a 14% and a 20% protein mix in the cubes. Buy the 14% because it is cheaper and they both do the same thing.

You can put the cubes (20%) in a wire fish basket and hang it under the boat, shake it once in a while, and it will attract bait fish....which also attracts other fish. Also toss a few about 20-40 feet around the boat...

Well I tried out the cubes on Fri night I was fishing from the bank in 2-4 feet of water tossed em out in different directions and waited . About a hour and a half later fish on and it felt decent I get it up and its about a 8-10 pound carp and I caught it on liver hmmm never woulda thought anyway I caught a few channels from 1-2 pounds and 3 more dang goldfish so I think I'm gonna stick to the old standby soured milo and deer corn .
