I know there is probably a lot of posts with this topic, but seeing as how the search tool isn't working yet I figured I would ask. So I have heard a couple people telling me that they keep a pack of Fish Bites in the car for those quick fishing fix. What are you guys' thoughts? Do they actually work. What is the best flavor? Any advice is appreciated.

Yes, they work. For Bass? I dunno. It's tougher than GULP! and is usually used for Saltwater....This is the BASS section! noidea Some tip their jigs with this stuff for Reds, Flounder, etc. Or use it like cut bait...

I don't think you are suppose to be eating it in the car. Feed it to the cat.

I think what he is saying is that when your riding around with your wife, kids etc etc and you have that "man, I want to go fishing moment". Your supposed to eat one of these "bites" and it cures your crave? It's like nicorette.....

Are they garlic/crawfish flavored. grin Man, that wouldn't crave my appetite to go fishing. it would make it worse.

Lmao no guys sorry i wasn't clear enough. This is a bait. Typically they go for saltwater, but they make some for fresh. It is similar to the Berkley Gulp baits. I have heard a lot of folks in the Bank Fishing forum keep a pole and a pack of these in their toolbox just in case they find a pond they wanna fish. I apologize I was not so clear. So it is essentially a dry bait that when it hits the water it starts leaving a 'flavor trail'. But some garlic/crawfish chips sound good about now.
