Haha. you got me hooked on it, thanks to you! I am glad that you did, especially last year. DD was so dry, I had no place to go, I would become a mad man if I sit home not fishing. We all love to go to your pond now. You are the savier. I ordered two new blanks, have Sonny built them for me, exclusively for the big hybrids in your pond. Watch out. I am coming soon. I was busy fixing my house. And then out of the town for 2 weeks. For last couple of weeks, I am making new stick baits for March 2-4 tuna trip. I am going to use my home made poppers, home made stick baits, home made swim baits and home made jigs for this coming tuna trip. I want to catch tuna on my own lures.
I went to the old dam last Tuesday to test my new lures. I got few bites, no hook-ups. Two amigos caught about 25 big cats. The biggest one was around 20#, average 3 to 4#. It's pu$$y cat time.I will hit up Neil's hole when the wind's right. I will let you know. Moon that doesn't sound right brother. Why you want to hit up my hole. What I ever done to you other than made you mad at fishing hole?  This sound like fun. I am going to check out my pond next weekend, Saturday and see if any of my pet hybrids ready to come home with me ..... lol .....

blacky your hole sucks lol pipe full of shhhh...t this morning You must have missed the Indians with the pipes. Should been there this morning that is all I have to say about that. The Indians were passing the pipes around and the result:

DAM is dry ....... best bet is the lake side. Shore line, down winds especially from the North.
Check out West Burn Run after you pass over the dam.
That is all I got to say about that.

Hit up the dam last week and caught a bunch of buffs and a drum on sassy shad.  Disappointing, but still lots of fun. Kept me entertained for a few hours and got me ready for spring.

anyone know how close the lake is to "power pool"??? or what that term means???
i would think that with the rains, we are closing in on some water rolling out.

any hint on where this donkey-konging is going on for us stupid hard-headed fly casters??? i need some shallow enough water where they are close enough to hit them with some consistency.
i don't know the lake shoreeline that well

Not close! When the water level reaches 640', the water will run over the spillway. Lot of areas will be flooded. When the water level reaches 630', they have to open the flood control gates to release the water, unless the down stream areas are flooded already. In this case they will "hold" the water a little bit longer. When the flood gates are open, DD will be flooded with million of fishmen. anyone know how close the lake is to "power pool"??? or what that term means???
i would think that with the rains, we are closing in on some water rolling out.
