How come there is never anything about Toledo bend? Used to come down and bass fish til i ran into a couple of guys in the Sammy Gill marina. They were buying a couple of bags of ice. i asked if they were already icing them down.(At 6 am) They said we fished under the lanterns last night. I said Do any good? They replied we caught 165. I asked Any size to 'em. You can come take a look and see what you think. They had 2 coolers 72 qt. filled with 2 pound crappie. looked like you had cloned 1 because they were all copies. Put me on to crappie fishing the bend.

Got a palo and his dad coming for a week or so leaving tuesday. I hardly ever see anything about the lake. Why? Thanks.

Headed to T Bend thur for some perch jerking. Fished 3 weeks ago and caught 5 good fish in 5--9 ft water. They were just starting to move in the scattered moss and the water was clear and 57 deg. water temp in afternoon. Pre fish for bass tournament also. Sat. headed to visit Bassmaster at Red River. Just hoping to catch a few and for some good weather. Will be in 6 mile area of Toledo Bend.
