No excuse needed where I work. Just leave or call in some vacation or sick leave.

Hot water heater broke and flooded the utility room. Unfortunatly I used it twice.  SECOND TIME YOU WERE TELLING THE TRUTH!!

No problem leaving when I want but...., they kinda shot down me ordering a new bass boat with their money though.
As a joke I sent up a purchase request for a "New Aquatic Research Library" and a picture of a new ZX225..
I told them that I would even go pick it up......

a buddy of mine, his dad works for GM and has for 20+ years. He called in a couple of times and told his boss he is dead, and will not be making it in today. He said it hasnt worked yet but he is still trying

I said" I'm naked in bed with my sister, is that sick enough for you".

My only problem with cutting out of work to go fishing, I usually have to spend half the time on the d**n phone. Still much better being OTW.....
