Cut shad or shrimp, just off the bottom near rip-rap. I catch goo near the rocks all year long. Awesome fight, pretty tasty and also excellent blue cat bait.

You can usually tell a goo is on when at any time during the fight you notice the fish charging right at you. Maybe it's just me but goo will usually do this once or twice in a fight.

We caught a lot just below Granbury on sink tips and clousers. They seemed to hang around the rocky areas on the east side of the river.

Nice fish Lusca. I bet that was a fun fight.

I use the smallest minnows I can get, fished near bottom to target drums.
