Fished Hubbard again today form 10:30 to 2:30. Waited for the weather to warm up a little. Even at 10:30 the ride across the lake was a little cool to say the least. We found fish on the east side of the lake near he dam, but there were few takers. There was only one other boat. Headed west and found birds working in the middle of the lake. Finished the day there with 32 big fat sand bass, 1 good hybrid, and 5 dandy size yellow bass. All fish were caught on small white or chartreuse slabs with a jig above them. We were using the modified dead stick technique in 32-35 feet of water. What a great day to be on the lake, little to no wind. I was surprised to see so few boats, only maybe 5 other boats and one pontoon all day.

Blessings,

Jim

+1 on the weather. We got out there about the same time. Found a few at the gravel pit area then contined West. Due East of the power plant yielded a bunch of those Magnum Sandies. Then we finished at Red Barn with a ton of yellows, a few more sandies, and a couple of very nice cats.

I just saw that!! Ha ha true, that had to be either Dirk nowinsky standing on the motor, or a camera on a stick. Very cool and nice report!
