o.k guys sorry to sound ignorant but what would you consider high and low ? most people consider 30.30 high, ive done my best at around 29.82 to 29.90
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

29.92 at sea level is considered normal pressure - not high or low.
As altitude increases normal pressure decreases. So Leanin post does his best around normal pressure.

Was 30.30 at La Mancha right at sun up dont know if it changed if it dropped but there was about 8 of us out there and the action never slowed significantly all day. Several dinks were caught but alot of nice ones as well. 6 of us while i was there limited out by 2pm.

Pressures down to 29.91" now and falling rapidly... Curious to see how everyone is doing today, especially this evening...

Canoe trip on a creek in LL today 12-2:30, one cappie caught on a purple jig after about an hour of fishing (and 1.5 hours of battling wind paddling). A guy that got to the wind sheltered spot before us caught 5. Fish were within a foot or two of the bottom in the deeper holes and structure. (bank fishermen coming up empty). Water temp 49-52 degrees. Pressure ~29.0

a I meant just say, "lake or creek" you do not have to give exactly which one... Unsure what use your collecting of Texas fish caught vs your local pressure data will be....the pressure changes in one part of the state don't necessarily track the pressure changes in other parts of the state. Fronts stall, move forward, move backward and that drastically affects the barameter. If you had the GPS location and exact time of reports, you could look up the pressures, but your local gauge will not accurately show those same pressures or even the direction or trends of the pressure changes where the fish are actually being caught. sorry..

I dont think thats what he is doing. I dont think he is trying to track the weather or barometer, I think he is just trying to track at what barometric pressures people are or arent catching fish. location doesnt matter,, just what the pressure was at the time they were fishing and how many if any caught.

I dont think he is trying to track the weather or barometer, I think he is just trying to track at what barometric pressures people are or arent catching fish. location doesnt matter,, just what the pressure was at the time they were fishing and how many if any caught. Location (for the fish)means everything. They don't know or care what the pressure gauge is reading at the poster's home weather station. Fish can only sense or care what the barometric pressure is at their lake location. The readings across an area the size of Texas will often vary greatly and can even move in opposite directions. Some fronts never reach parts of the state, while they create huge barametric changes in other parts of the state.

Wundergound weather input you nearest town and set date. It gives a 24 hr look at past temp/wind direction/wind speed and changes in speed/baro pressure----I allways compare how the day before of fish caught and times. http://www.wunderground.com/history/airp...statename=Texas
