I was born and raised in Amarillo and have been all over that part of the state and most of the rest, I would say it is an under appriciated area, but if you have spent any amount of time in that area you will see that it gets big in a hurry there is so much to see for what most perceive as flat and featureless, it is completely opposite it has amazing views and a lot to offer.

I grew up in Borger and spent one year at WTS at Canyon.

I enjoyed Canyon , nice school , cool museum with a great
gun collection.

the local Jackrabbit population was almost at epidemic numbers.
I had a 22-250 and did my part to lower it .
