I probably to late, but I was interested in booking a guide out of Port O'Connor for tarpon fishing. I understand there are guides down that targest these fish. If someone has some contacts or names, please let me know. Thanks..........

Check the saltwater report section here. May have to go back a few pages, but there were some early fall reports. Don't think your too late for POC.

When I have a tarpon hooked on the boat , they usually take 100 yards of line or more and we have to give chase. You can get some dead Mullet at a tackle store and fish a chunk in a slough near a bridge channel. try Indian Key Bridge ocean side. There are number of fishes are roaming are in dark shadow.
