 RHBC Championship Results and Pictures!

The Ray Hubbard Bass Club had our second annual Championship tournament last weekend, November 5th and 6th. We fished Bob Sandlin an day 1, and Cypress Springs on day 2. Fishing was pretty tough both days compared to last year. Coming out on top for the second straight year was Ronnie Manning. Congratulations on a great effort over a tough field. Here are the full results.  Day 1 TD on Bob Sandlin was Eric Vidal.  Ronnie getting his day 1 bag ready.  Brandon and Joey get ready to head to the scales.  Mark Werner weighing in.  Vince, Jay and Tommy making sure everything is going according to plan.

Tony Jr. shows off his teams best fish of day 1.  And his best fish of day 1.  Stan Smith with a Sandlin chunk.  Climers are weighing in.  "Take my picture and make me famous!" said the Red Ranger. Here's the best I can do Jack.  Hangin out and watching the weigh in...  David and Tommy weigh in.

Eric and Evan with a good day.  Bob and Jack were in third after day 1.  Brandon and Joey were in second with 12.50 and had the days big bass of 6.38.  Ronnie was leading with 13.07.  Saturday night at Ragans we had a BBQ. The Club provided the steaks, and the members brought everything else. SnakeEyes was the grill master.

Day 2 on Cypress Springs. Our 2 Jacks, Lantrip and Scheel discuss the day.  Tony and Jason show off a couple Cypress bass.  Jerry and Tony Jr. had a decent day.  Eric and Evan with their bag.  Even the President caught a decent fish!

Jay and Evan head back to weigh in after releasing their fish.  Jack and Fly had a limit.  Tom and Tony show off their fish which included big bass of day 2, a 5.83 pig.  Tommy and Tony rallied strong on day 2, but fell about a pound short and finished second. They weighed 12.99 on day 2.  Robert and Jeff had the best bag of the day with 13.17 and had a 5.05 kicker.  Thanks to everyone that came up for a great weekend. Thanks to everyone that fished with us in 2011. We had a great year and look forward to 2012. We will start in January with the RHBC Open. See you there!
