Was wondering if you run upon shad balling in lets say 14+ deep water and fishing banging the heck out of them (White bass / strippers mainly I am sure), could you throw a hard jointed type swim bait (see link below) running VERY shallow and do any good?? Asking ony due to I was on Aquilla last weekend and the fish were wearing out the shad on top and I tried a buzz bait and a LC Sammy and the fish would now and then again come up to the boat and stick their tongue out at us!!

I hope they stay low, and just come up gradually so the fish don't scatter out bad. With the lakes this low it makes it really easy to find fish
