I usually launch at Shady Grove Park. With the lake only being about 4.5' low, the ramp is still useable, but there are big rock on both sides of the ramp so you have to be careful. Its a free ramp and the police patrol it pretty good. That being said, there have been occasions where people have had things stolen, but I think that is more at night. I have never had any problems there, but I have never been out there after dark so I don't know.

West Bay west. Lakeview east. Lakeview and A/C will be the only ticket if water keeps dropping. September stinks. Lake turning soon. Better, first or second week of October. Tight lines. David www.davesguideservice.net
