Read an article today on wfaa.com that was talking about the biology behind the recent fish kill. It also said Texoma was closed for recreation due to the algae bloom. Anybody know anything abt this?

I think that just means some of the parks are closed for swimming. At least that's what I heard. I dunno smile

Been to GV the last two evenings and haven't seen any dead fish. Did not go to the dam, stayed up by Murrell. Saw lots of shad and caught several healthy bass.

Fishing was very good on Grapevine yesterday evening. It seems the majority of the fish that died were confined to the Silverlake Marina cove.

I did see alot of camera flashes going off in the trees by the Murrell picnic areas. All of a sudden out walks a girl in a bikini with a photgrapher in tow.

Good stuff but I am pretty sure Rudy C. can top that one with an event he described to me in that same area a few years back.

Wanted to hang around to see what might take place but they didn't seem to appreciate my boat as a backdrop to their picture taking. LOL!

There is a lot of photography on that lake and on lakes in general. I've run into it a few times. Nude and bikini's. I carry binoculars when I fish from bank or boat. Never know. much more interesting than a dead school of shad.

The fish kill is pretty much exclusively in Sliver Lake from the gas dock to the tires at the mouth.
