Great report. That surf was just about right. Personally, I've found that if the surf is too flat then the bite will turn off. The fish will typically be in the wade gut at first light but as more sun penetrates the water they move deeper.

Jacob and Nathan hit the surf again late Thursday afternoon. Said the conditions where much better and much easier since there were hardly any waves. The bite wasn't as action packed as the morning bite had been but they were still able to string 10 solid trout. Good luck to everyone hitting the water this weekend!

I like your stuff Daniel, even checked out the website. I've been drooling over these pics since you posted them. Even shared them with a few friends, some of whom know very little about salt. Most, like myself, are awestruck. Dam fine report.
