Now is the time to go to your favorite fishing spots and see what secrets lies exposed due to the low water levels.
I live about 5 minutes from my favorite lake and noticed the lake had dropped about 2-3ft. During the spring there are areas that keep producing beautiful bass year after year and now it's been exposed. Now I realize why I lost some many worms and spinnerbaits.
Take advantage of the lower lake levels and make mental notes of what kind of structure is below. It will pay off next season.

Did you get any of your lures back?

To flip it upside down, how do you turn a bank site in to a secret spot now that water is low?

Did you get any of your lures back? Didn't get any of mine but lots of others. After a good cleaning and new hooks they should be ready to go.

I hope the heat keeps people away. I think what really caught my eye was the fact I knew there were lots of rocks but had no idea there were that many.

Woke up this morning at 5am to rain hitting my window. I guess my Rick Perry is working. Please fill my lake up!

So glad to hear about the rain.If you don't mind send a few drops to Kingwood/Humble. The San Jac is down with the river at US 59 only half as wide as usual.
