Looking at taking a trip down there the 15-17 of August. I have always gone with groups of people when we went in rental property and the like. This time it will just be me and my fiancee going so was looking at something on the cheaper side. Any ideas for just 2 people??

The Poco Loco Lodge or the Captain's Quarters. Out of the two the Poco Loco is the best. If your pulling a boat the Poco has everything you need. Never stayed there, but i here the Inn at Clarks is nice also.

We usually stay at a friend's house at POC. He charges $20 a night cover the property taxes. We always pull a boat down. If you are on a tight budget consider the Tarpon Inn or Motel but don't expect much. We call it the Tarpit (Ha). When we take the ladies out we stay at Clark's a little pricey but well worth it if you have a boat because each room comes with a slip. You can also rent a slip if you are not staying there for $15/night for up to a 20' boat. Comes in handy after those all night at the Big Jetties sessions. Also there are 2 bait camps within walking distance from Clarks. The other places that Fancast mentioned are good choices as well.

Tight lines,
Dave
