Wore them out. Just got off. Mostly hybrids. Few Sandies on top today in the wind

We did ok, had to fight through some smaller fish to find some keepers.. There were a couple boats over by the old dam spillway that were just hammerin' the hybrids.. They were on the "x" cause no one else was getting bit..

That was my boat. We killed them up to 8 pounds. Got broke off several times also. My arms are tired and I'm sunburnt as heck.

Come on bass thumb give some creds to the boat that found em over there for all those people to come over and crowd me and you-all off of that spot and spook em off! But it was fun!! I was just amazed that you guys were evenout there in that little boat in that wind! I didn't count, but I would think that my son and I ended up with around 30+hybrids for the day until we got crowded off of the area! Did you see that two guys on that older skeeter come over about 10 ft up wind of us, it was another comedy show out on LL on sat AGAIN!

Such is summertime fishin. Especially on Saturdays. I had a customer last week that told a guy in a small older aluminum boat that he was gonna jump out and flip him cause he almost ran us over. I was spot-locked and never even moved.

I just smiled and waved at the guy smile

David your right. A boat show quickly started after some high fives and hollering. You guys were stacking em deep.. Great job. I was amazed myself that we went out because we almost called it off. We got soaked but the old boat is still floating.

There were several people fishing real close. We ended up in a conversation with the guys in the skeeter. They were nice guys. People are drawn like flies when they see someone landing a big fish. I'm used to the boat shows now on LL. I plan to be a little more low key like you guys were next time we start slayen em. We just anchored a good distance(I hope) from you guys to give you some space. The fish seemed to be swimming laps around the hump so they came in waves for us.

Worked way too hard for 12 sandies. Had 2 kids and a Dad that had never fished from a boat and very little from the bank, I have a renewed respect for what guides do everyday. With the wind just glad they caught some fish.

I was in the Ranger with my wife, daughter, and her two friends. They had a ball this morning all being home from college. Hope we didn't put too much pressure on you. I was trying to run the boat and keep their lines straight. I hit that same spot Thursday night with similar results as you guys had today...of course I had experienced anglers then. We went around the corner across from Sneaky Petes and wore the schooling sand bass out after we left.

ya, and that very spot was a circus for 45 minutes this morning
& to whoever it was in the bumblebee-flavored nitro bass boat that just had to cut me off from the surfacing 6" sandies.....
well I hope it was worth it, some real trophies in that school!

Ended up with six nice hybrids on the boat this evening. Found someone on the shore to keep the only one that swallowed the hook. Slow day but worth it.
