Went out to Lewisville with David's Guide Service last Friday. We went out around 4:00 and fished until 8:30. We caught a good hand full of huge sandies and a few Hybrids towards the end of the evening. We were never really in one spot, we just looked for big balls of bait and fished under the schoolies for the bigger fish and it paid off pretty well. We were both using slabs. I was using a slab/fly combo and had good luck with that just reeling it in under the schooling fish. Caught many doubles and several hybrids which were caught on the Flies-By-Night 1.5 oz Big Dad Slab and I also caught a nice catfish which was caught on the slab as well.
