 Great fishing at Aransas Pass

I took a weekend trip with the family down to Corpus and we went over to Aransas Pass to fish on the rock jetties. Used fresh dead shrimp and cautght at least 1 of everything. Bull Reds were all over the place. Most people seemed to be fishing on the channel side, but I tried the surf side and spent as much time losing tackle as I did catching fish. Funny thing was when the kids would start getting tired and whining about leaving, someone would tie into a big fish and they would get excited all over again.
I lost 2 big fish that I never saw, pretty sure they were Bull Reds and my wife managed to bring in a 46 inch Red.
They all want to go back now at least once a month.
