Got this idea from couple guys, wondering if it has merit? ========================================================== Quote; my idea for Reel Lite is a way to secure it to a bouy of some sort and then be able to pitch it out 10-15ft...thought of this idea for bank fishing..............
.....the bouy idea was for a guy that is fishing from the bank and wants to get the Reel lite out 10 -15 ft from shore. he could attach it to 2-4 ft of string below a bouy of some sort and then pith it out or let it drift out. Also while having a string attached to the bouy so you can pull it back. Unquote

Came to the conclusion that one could use a swimiming pool noodle or bobber to float the light, and flip it out without tying up to a bouy. Thereby giving one more flexiablity along banks. Would sugguest that considerations for 40' cord would be the way to go to get out into deeper waters.

I fish light, often ultra-light.
