They are smaller, denser, and have more feel to transmit back.

The price that came up for me on their web site was over $5.00 per weight. Do not need very many at that price. I agree. That price is very steep for one weight. cant do many of them for sure

Try the ones from academy, the h2o brand. About the cheapest I've found. And yeah, its the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Stike King is making 'insert free' Tungsten Wts now. They are every bit as good as Tru Tungsten.

I'll throw in my .2c for River A Tackle weights. Carlos has an awesome product in those weights. All the weights he has are shaped in the flipping style...which I much prefer. Add that to how the paint actually stays on the weight for some time unlike TT (who I used before their demise). I could flip grass for a day in non rocky bottom and lose the paint on a TT weight, never understood people's fascination with them but they were always easily available so I used them.
