Never been to lake bardwell...anyone been out there lately and is it a good lake for hybrids and sandies?

I went out there yesterday morning with my son. We caught 60+ channel cats by lunch time. Saw plenty of trollers out there, but don't recall seeing any of them catching many fish. One of the pontoons was boating what looked to be several small sandbass. There were several boats trolling the old road bed just north of the bridge. I marked lots of fish and bait there, but decided not to anchor up due to the traffic in that area.

Have yall tried a night fishing expadition yet? Friend fishes under bridge has lots of luck fishing minnows. I am wanting to pull an all nighter there soon!
