Indeed. When I first saw a picture of that thing I figured it must be a mutant from a nuclear power plant spill.

Heres more info. The current IGFA all tackle record for Redear Sunfish is 5 pounds, and 7 ounces, thats 5.4375 pounds, the Redear from AZ is being reported by the LA Times as being 5.55 pounds. TFP
