Thinking about hitting sandlin this weekend. My dad is going to be in town and has never been to sandlin. I have only fished it accouple of times. What's been going out there? Any help would be great. How is the lake level?

Thanks
Scott

lake is pretty low. don't put in at 21 ramp unless you have 4 wheel drive. put in at titus. topwaters on points worked well in the morning then drop shots and football jigs when the sun got up.

What about the State Park Ramp?

State park ramp is good. Did really well a couple of weeks ago using square bill cranks on secondary points. alot of small fish on the main lake points, bigger fish on the secondary points

You have to hit the SP ramp right in the center. It is silted in really bad on both sides leaving you high on one side and low on the other. Hard to load up, if you don't center it. Topwaters & Buzzbaits early and Jigs & Rattlesnakes later in the day T-rigged. 1/16 oz. weight if no wind, 1/8 oz. weight with wind. Fish windy sides.

Is any of the buck brush fishable? Has anyone found grass on the lake. I haven't been out there in over a year.
