I have had some very good deals over the last week.

Sold a couple of Curados to Tommy Yates with no problems. The same reels Lurebuddy serviced and cleaned for me. Very nice guys and a great experience.

Sold a Calais to 777Dave with no problems.

Bought a Core from basstalk and item was as described and transaction was smooth.

THanks TFF

I have more of a complaint from someone being just downright RUDE while listing a transaction. I sold the item at work before I was able to respond to the person messages in order:

lite-liner#1767619 - 04/29/11 06:44 AM Howa
interested, have cash & can come this morning
please call to discuss
thanks & tight lines

???????? still selling or what?
cash ready for asking price
please call 972-567-1563
thanks

Sorry for the delay, it was sold before your message came in.

-----------------------------------------------

lite-liner#1769561 - 05/01/11 12:10 AM
Dude, you read my 1st msg between 8-9am yesterday. I had $ in hand & 30 mins away.
you couldn't have said it then?
whatever.

lite-liner#1769562 - 05/01/11 12:10 AM
lite-liner has removed themself from this topic.

So I was a little annoyed but felt bad about not getting back fast enough, I sent a new message:

-----------------------------------------------

odwraca#1772585 - Today at 07:15 AM
Sorry for the inconvenience, no reason to be rude about it. I had someone at work offer me cash so I sold it to them.

-----------------------------------------------

lite-liner#1772654 - Today at 07:58 AM

I had cash that could have been in your hand within an hour of you reading my first pm. It was inconsiderate to leave the ad up if the gun was already sold.
Secondly, I pm'd you to come buy the gun @ 6:45am, 9 hrs after you edited the ad to show the change in guns. You had already read that pm 3 hrs later (before 10am) & never responded in the next 36 hrs even w/ multiple contact info, a bump to your ad, & another pm that went ignored.
Again, quite inconsiderate for someone that was ready to do YOUR deal, right now.
Just so you know, that is NOT how we do deals here, & I still have a mind to report this or post up in the transaction ratings.
Rude is what you get from me when you piss me off.
Done. Do not contact me again.
-----------------------------------------------

I was by no means trying to offend anyone and wanted this to be public in case he tried to report me or anything. I did nothing wrong, topic title was changed to sold. I have always enjoyed the TFF and never had a reaction out of someone like this.

juggin4cats is a good guy to deal with. Bought the 2 old Johnson boat motors he had and I think I ended up with enough extra parts to build a third.

Wouldn't hesitate to swap with again.

MP/HOG is cool in my book.

He did what he said he would and I got what I wanted.

I will buy from him again.

I met with TFF member bassfishinglawyer (better known as Dewey) yesterday at Cabela's in Allen, Texas, to buy a fishing rod from him. He was very accomodating in establishing the time and place to meet. And, the fishing rod was everything he said it would be.

Dewey was pleasant to talk to, and very helpful to a guy (me) just getting into bass fishing. I hope all future TFF transaction go as well. Thanks!
