 Anyone ever see a fish do this after being caught? Is he diseased or did he just eat too much? I also noticed that he might have a case of ick on the fin by my finger.

That is the first time I have seen that. I have seen fish urinating and ejecting sperm after being caught but that mainly had to do with spawning. I have also seen Reds spitting out digested food but never have I seen white foam coming from the mouth of a fish. Would be interesting to see what others say.

That's a first... could be he'd just eaten something and was trying to spit out the hook, but I dunno. That's weird.

I caught him in a small city creek, where there were multiple species on nests. I was thinking that maybe the puke was half digested eggs or fry. But rabies was the first thing that crossed my mind. Lucky for me, only mammals get rabies because he flung some of that puke in my face.

Now that I look at it again it kind of looks like a Butterfinger Blizzard from Dairy Queen, see the Butterfinger? I think that just turned my stomach.
