well done

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

PS... those are longears... redbreasts don't actually have as much color ironically.

Excellent Redbreast pics!!! They are my favorite sunfish to stalk and catch. I love seeing them rise from the depths and smacking one of my little topwater or crankbait plugs. I've had some great days catching Redbreast on F-3 and F-5 Rapala floating minnows in the Hill Country. Glad you were able to get on some. cheers They are fun!!

definitely red breast, as evident by silers TP&WD id!!
longears are much more colorful, and have aqua in them. redbreasts usually have that real bright yellow belly to them.

Yeah, maybe you're right. I'm not used to seeing redbreasts so large I guess. When they are smaller like you normally find them around here they don't have nearly as much color.
