Hi guys, what fish I can catch at this time of the year on surfside jetty?
Haven't been there since last winter. Is night fishing with light good now?

trout, spanish mackeral, jack crevalle, red, a bunch of other less desirables. My experience on friday. Its actually pretty good right now.

which kind of baits for these fishes? will lure work for any of the fish? Last year I use shad for spanish mackeral.

last month i was catching them smacks on the smallest silver spoons i can find in my tackle box.They were not at all interested in my live shrimp.Every single smacks i caught were spitting out small glass minnows.I think anything small resemble a fish will probably give you a better chance at catching them smacks.Hope this will help you catch some.

day time.Galveston report east bay are doing real good at night under lights for trout.check it out.
