Is the rod sox material over the cables on the console mounted HB side imagers just some cut up socks or somewhere u can order them from. I though about cutting a sox up but what do you do to keep it from unraveling (burn the ends or double the end and stitch it). Its makes for a clean look and looks to protect the wires also.

Alltex Electronics off of Midway Rd. in Addison will have a variety of things you can look at to use. They are accros the road from the airport on a side road. Cant remember the name of the road.

It is actually wire covering you can get at a car audio place. It is quite a bit smaller than a rod sock. After you cut it you can melt it a little with a lighter and it will not unravel. I did it over a year ago and it is still working perfectly.

The original use for this material was to cover most types of wiring. Electrical supply companys sell it in many sizes, colors, and by the foot. Cut it with a hot wire or melt as the other post said.
