 Ole Ugly Slabs

Sent Johnny a PM on Monday evening. I asked him if he had any green Ole Ugly Slabs ready to go. I wanted a dozen because I only had one left and didn't want to fish the weekend with only one. My fishing partner, aka. my wife, might get upset if I were to catch fish on the only green Ole Ugly in our possession.... This morning (Wednesday) I got this in the mail!  If you haven't tried an Ole Ugly slab give Johnny a holler. He makes a great slab and his service is unbeatable! Thanks for the nice extras (flies and a nice slab box). I can't wait to try out the flies~!! Gotta refresh myself on the dropper loop.......... Thanks Johnny and how's the fishing? Get back on top of those whites?

Gotta refresh myself on the dropper loop.......... Many of us on the forum have experience/discovered the same thing. Johnny/The Old Fart, is a great guy but don't tell him I said that. His head will swell up again.  BTW the palomar knot with a long tag works well.  For the Knot challanged.

They sure are. The best we have done is the day my wife and I took our 9 year old fishing. He caught 43 on an Ole Ugly, and we boated a total of 134 on Ole Ugly Slabs. All in 2 hours or so.

Very nice! Those look like some very high quality slabs. The flies look pretty good too.
