Went out with the fishing partner and kiddos. Another day of dink fishing. Out of all the fish the four of us caught, only five of them were keepers. The fish that we caught were in 12-20 feet of water on the slopes. Fished four different spots and it was the same. Slopes covered up with dinks. Kids had fun though. My sixs year old son is really coming along sandbass fishing. He got his first real fishing pole and was excited to finally get to use it. Its a 6' Ugly Stick with a Sigma closed face reel. Other than my truck overheating, finding a leak in the heater core, the brand new starting battery going dead, and my new wireless trolling motor steering going out, it was a pretty good day on the water. Dont know how many of those kind of good days on the water I can afford. I saw Lance out there on the water, just had to go say hi so I could see his new boat. Man, that thing is awesome. I am so jealous. That is my dream boat. He had clients so I didnt stick around, just said hi and left. Really nice guy and an awesome boat.

I returned more than my share of dinks Sat. We only caught 1 keeper the whole day and it was a 11 incher. Johnny, I think you trained the keepers to hide when your away.
