Bump, so I don't have to do a search for it again. Debating whether to fish this one or the Guaualupe Bass Club one on Canyon as they both fall on Sunday.

I cant tell you what to do.... I belong to the club, but have to do this one. We scheduled this tourney before the club set their date.... Either way, I'm glad you're doing one or the other...

Top selling points for each:
Canyon lake open - could be local for you...
Choke Canyon Tourney - 100% payout....

Your call.

We should have an awesome turnout. I think this is the last weekend for Bass Champs pre-fishing..? And the Seguin club is having their open on Choke Saturday. I am going to flyer the parking lot Saturday, which should help with turn-out.

Look forward to seeing everyone there!

You sure had a lot of your folks fishing inside the bouy lines down by the dam. I talked to two different teams and I saw both of them well inside the buoy lines on the left side of the dam.

Can you do that? I thought you must obey lake rules and if so inside the buoy lines is considered an off limit lake rule.

Just ask the guy in the white Ford and he will stop and let you know for sure.

I was just fishing and found out about the tournament from other contestants.

Well, that sucks....
Yes, all anglers MUST follow lake rules and fishing OB is grounds for DQ. There isn't anything I can do about it now, but moving forward, a camera phone picture that clearly shows a contestant indisputably "FISHING" out of bounds will go a long way to proving someone was out of bounds.
I must stress that if a picture is presented, the picture MUST be indisputable, and it must show them fishing out of bounds, not just over the line.

I will also address this at the next check-in.

• Cheating will result in disqualification and public ridicule.
