Does anyone here have an opinion on which is better the Hodgman Stingaree II or the Foreverlast ray-guard boots. The foreverlast boot looks more substantial but the stingaree looks more comfortable. Any input or recomendations would be appreciated.

Shuffle! Neither one will stop a big ray.

I haven't had any problems with the Foreverlast being uncomfortable.

I do shuffle but I most people get hit when they lose there balance and take an unintended step. I figure better safwe than sorry.

Hodgman makes a good product, one that I have used. After trying them all, though, I am convinced that none of the boots on the market are superior to the Foreverlast. It's money well-spent, not only to deflect stingray barbs but also out-of-sight submerged crab traps, rocks or other underwater debris. Go to www.foreverlast.com, and check 'em out. Billy Gerke makes a great line of products. Best, Boz

I wade fished with the Foreverlast boots this weekend. I found them quite comfortable.

u can always buy the ray-guards seperate from the boot. pick out the most comfortable boot in your price range and then by some ray-guards for your calves an shins.
