Download and install this, it's killer. You can zoom in extremely close, tilt, rotate the terrain and it gives exact gps coordinates too! Pretty sweet. Just like google maps, the most populated areas have more detail so lakes around DFW look great. http://desktop.google.com/download/earth/index.html

Thanks! I love google maps. Its fast and very user friendly. I can type in "3456 main st somewhere tx" all on one line and it will pinpoint me there (well, most of the time since its still in beta).

Way cool.... thanks for the link  Scary part is that I saw my Blazer, Pickup and boat parked in the driveway LOL...... must have been a Sunday when the image was taken

It is faboulous, I don't ever use Mapquest anymore.

Thanks for the neat link. I can see my house on it...........too bad they dont combine the lake maps with some of the map data and we would have regular GPS maps.

jesse, its an application, wherever it saved when you downloaded it, double click on the app to install it. Once its installed, you should have an icon on your desktop, double-click on it and away you go....
