How to transfer GPS waypoints created in Navplanner2 and saved to SD card as a .USR file to HDS units ( 7&8 ).
I believe I have the part about inserting while unit is off, opening and importing files.
My question. Will it import files just to the onboard mapping that came on the unit. Or can you leave your Navionics Map card in the unit and have an option to copy to it. Or will it automatically show up after selecting which mapping unit you want displayed ( Lowrance or Navionics ). Does it share on both units ?
When working with Navplanner2 and you have your Navionics card in the card reader and working with maps marking waypoints, why wont it show up on your HDS unit when inserted and after selecting Navionics as your displayed chart.

Thanks, I understand that part. So it will save it to the HDS unit. And it will display on the HDS unit map. But will it display my waypoints when i am using my Navionics map card as well. The units or 2010 HDS 7 & 8, both had a Navionics Premium cards purchased Feb. 2010. I just purchased the boat. I have downloaded the 3.5 version software to download and update my units. I am waiting on a new Navionics Premium card. I have a bunch of waypoints saved to SD card from working on my Navplanner2. I want to make sure i can work with the cards and transfer waypoints. Any help with this will be appreciated.

Thanks Jason, I will be getting home tomorrow from work then off to Toledo Bend. Look forward to uploading waypoints and checking out new spots.
