Wondering where the the white bass spawn at Joe Pool? Would like to take my son out and find a few once it gets going.

I think they spawn in the creeks or on windy mainlake points.

Was wondering the same thing? Do they run up creeks after a rain like other creeks?

ALL sandbass spawn in moving water IE....creeks. The bucks move up into the creeks first and the sows follow usually a week or so later. the south creek and walnut creek will both be bustin at the seams with sandies in the very near future! go getum!

A friend of mine has caught sandies in Walnut Creek, where it passes under Walnut Creek Dr. in Mansfield. Appx. 4 miles from the lake, during high water flows in the spring. So---Yes they do!

The creeks if there's sufficient flowing water (like this year). Ohter times when we had low water conditions, I have caught them in coves right along with the black bass.

Went out Thursday in the wind and they were just south of the bridge by Lynn Creek Marina. If you lauched at the marina and went under the bridge, they were in 16 ft of water about 100 yds off shore. Chart/white slab worked the best off the bottom. The birds were working the area pretty good, so if they are not still there, I would look for the birds to find where they have moved to.
