For a F-350. Size 275-65-R20 Load Range E. Prefer All Terrain or mud. I have Goodyear Wrangler ATS now. Good on hiway, poor in wet grass.

Looking at Goodyear MTR's or Nitto Terra grapplers.

Opinions pros and cons.

Other tire options will be considered as well.

I'm not a fan of Goodyear. I've had poor tread life on every set I've ever had. But if you decide Goodyear, they also make the Fierce Attitudes, which are cheaper. You might look at those and save a few bucks. The best tires I've ever had were BFG, but they cost more than GY or Nitto.

Have nitto Terra grapplers same truck and size.30k on them half tred. Rotate every oil change. Quite, good in sand, dirt, boat ramps, not so good in mud but its not a mud tire.

2wd? Im asking because i have the Goodyear Wranglers AT/S tires and my truck slips in wet grass because i have a 2wd truck. They would be great tires if i had 4wd but with only one tire spinning even mud tires arent great.

I have had two vehicles with Goodyear Wrangler AT/S tires and i always thought the held their tread very well.

The most I've gotten out of GY was about 35k. My wife had a set shot in 25k a few years back. I wasn't happy.

Last set of good year wranglers I had was still going strong with 40K on them. My mom has an '06 taho with factory bridgestones that have 93K on them now properly inflated and rotated every 20K with about 5K left on them. Dad and brother both have bridgestone desert dueler at's on 3/4 duramaxes with over 60K and lots of tread. I never really considered them but bridgestone has turned out to be a good tire for us. I have Factory BFG rugged trail AT's on my dodge and they seem to be wearing well, ride is rough, but Im thinking it is the suspension not the tire.

I had the Rugged Trails on an explorer a few years back and I really liked them. I like ATKO's too.

I must be hard on tires though. I can't imagine getting 60k out of anything.

Edit: Got to thinking it was the Long Trail BFGs that I had.

4WD stuck in the front yard with less than 10K on them.

Wow! You must be hard on tires. This is the second set of Goodyear Wranglers i have had and i have 30k miles currently on them and they look brand new. I looked the other day and cant really tell that they have worn at all.

When i bought my F150 it had Continental tires on it and they were a POS. They didnt last but about 20k miles before the tread was low and chunks of tread were falling off. Maybe they wore so bad because they were "P" rated tires.

I don't have a F350, but on my F150 the terra grapplers are awesome. Great traction, wet or dry and so far are showing very little wear. I hear good things about the toyo open country's too.

I had a set ot Toyo's on my Expedition but did not have it long after they were installed.

Finding sizing is an issue as well.

I have 35K on the Goodyears. With the weight of the F-350 is my main concern is wear.

I'm running hankook dynapro atm rf10 all terrain tires and I really like them. Excellent reviews from tons of other people on discount tires's website too.

South Korea makes excellent products, really.
