Could any one recommend some good campsites around lake fork? Gonna have a ten year old along with at least 4 adults. Wanna get away from civilization for a good 3 or 4 days if ya know what I mean.

There are few sites with overnight camping, not as many as there use to be. Many have gone to the yearly sites.

We RV camped at LFM last year, have a reservation there for this year and was very happy with it. That's why we are going back again. We were about 30 feet from the water.

Secret haven rv. They are good people and have and RV to rent along with a cabin. Also private ramp with good fishing. I stayed there last year for 2 months. Loved it!

The first campground encountered when driving up American Fork is the Little Mill campground. Little Mill is located about a mile and a half past the Timpanogos Cave visitors center. The campground parallels the road, as well as American Fork Creek. There are 66 campsites and numerous picnic areas. The sites are rather cramped, quite a few of them are located very closely together.

used to be camping sites at coffee creek. havent been there in a while so dont know for sure if it is still open. Lake view lodge has decent rooms and Mary ( the owner ) is a sweetheart. My friends and I stayed there for about 20 straight years.

Coffee Creek is still open. On the East fork but the ramp is not so great with the lake low. Still usable last I heard but better take it slow. Hope this helps.
