Medina Water Temp is now 49 to 50deg. Fishing is a little tuffer. Caught fish from 3' to 35' on what you ask A HOOK...LOL

The bite is still on and every boat had a limit except one. The weather was cold at the beginning but warmed up during the day. A lot of nice bass were caught, with the leader averaging 3 lbs or more.

First Place went to Brian Jones and William Ball with 15.5 lbs of bass.
Second Place went to Chris Warner and Kenny Schmoekaul with 14.12 lbs of bass.

It was a good day to be on the lake! Hope to see everyone for our next tournament on the 26th of February 2011. Remember you can't catch them if your line is not in the water.

Everyone caught a limit again.... the bass are still biting and it was a good day to be on the lake. Up river the hybrid and stripers are schooling and the bite is super for them too!

First Place went to Chris Warner and Stan Seiler with a total weight of 13 lbs and 6 oz

The weather was overcast with misting in the AM but was party cloudy by the end of the tournament.

Is the Medina tourney still on for the 12th of March? If so what time and place?

Sign up and weigh-in at REDs Cove. Most of the time take off is at 7:30am. So be there by 7:00am

Yep, tournament Saturday, launch at Red Cove, start time is 7:30.

Saturday Fishing Tournament Medina Lake 3/12/2011

We had a good turn out for the Saturday tournament, and everyone caught some fish. Just about everyone got a 5 fish limit. The weather was warm but windy, with gusts to 20 mph.

First Place went to Marcus Qualls and Tony Deleon with 16.2 lbs.
Second Place went to Brian Jones and William Ball with 15.7 lbs.
Third Place went to Mike Guevera and Lewis Chavez with 14.3 lbs. and Big Bass 4.15 lbs

It was a great day at the lake.... lots of fish still being caught. The lake continues to drop but the launch ramp it still very good.
Our next tournament is on Saturday March 26, 2011. The start time is 7:30 AM until 3:00 PM, $40 per boat entry fee. Come on out and enjoy a great day on the lake with some friendly competition.

Saturday Fishing Tournament Medina Lake 3/26/2011

It was a very nice day to be on Medina Lake, no wind, some boat traffic and lots of bass biting. Everyone had a pretty good day and almost everyone came to the weigh in with a limit...and some really nice bass!

First Place went to Eddie and Clarence Schwarz with 15.09 lbs and a 7.08 kicker (BIG BASS).

Second Place went to Chris Warner and Stan Seiler with 14.10 lbs and a 6.04 kicker

This was our last Saturday tournament and we will continue the fishing with our Friday Night Tournaments at Medina Lake. The start date for these tournament is April 8, 2011 and will continue each Friday until October 2011. In October we will have our Championship tournament. Everyone ask your friends and fishing buddies to come out and have a good time with fellow anglers and some great competiton.
